Financial Investment Accounting Leader
Financial Investment Accounting LeaderOur client is one of the world's largest global providers of life reinsurance.
They need a financial investment accounting leader that can lead a large team of over 40 professionals that can manage and establish strategy for all aspects of the financial investment accounting function, regulatory and GAAP, for the organization's consolidated investment portfolio and various subsidiaries which includes derivates.
This is a VP level position that will establish and execute the strategic plan of the firms investment accounting function, including IT related matters that will partner with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Investments You'll be expected to evaluate the needs for investment information for external and internal users, develop reports that provide information needed for effective decision making and assess invested assets and related income.

This is a complex role that requires someone to navigate the ship.
They require a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance with over 10 years of accounting or auditing experience with over 5 years of Investment Accounting and advanced experience with Statutory and GAAP accounting with a minimal or 10 years of management experience, along with at least 3 or more years experience with insurance/reinsurance or financial services accounting experience.
This is a salaried position plus bonus with great benefits.
They will pay relocation fees for the right candidate.
