As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll assist the drive-in restaurant's General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
You will also be involved in training and supporting other employees to ensure we provide quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner.
We want every guest to have an enjoyable dining experience every time they come to SONIC.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
oTrain, manage, direct, coach, lead, and assign drive-in employees during shiftoLead and manage drive-in operations during shift to provide an optimal guest experienceoManage staffing levels during shiftoPerform opening and/or closing dutiesoHandle and properly escalate guest issues/concerns during shiftoHandle and properly escalate employee issues/concernsoMonitor and manage the drive-in's food, labor, paper, and inventory during shift to maximize cost-control, operational efficiency, quality standards, and customer serviceoAssist with preparation and maintenance of drive-in recordsoComply with and enforce all company policies, procedures, and operational standardsoEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local lawsoPerform all station duties (fountain & frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru (if applicable)) as necessary during shift to meet operational standardsoPerform regular cleaning and sanitation duties - including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease - pursuant to operational standardsoRegular attendanceRequirements:
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
oMove and stock food product weighing up to 50 poundsoPerform other job-related duties as assigned or requiredTIME/SHIFT EXPECTATIONS:
Irregular hours; nights; weekends; and holidays.
Full time or part time available.
QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:
oAt least six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experienceoExperience running a restaurant shift without supervisionoGeneral restaurant or retail knowledgeoKnowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws (e.
