We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team.
As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs and solutions for various projects.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and proficiency in CAD software.
Qualifications:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Ability to run engineering calculations.
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
This position will involve multiple projects running concurrently.
Work well with others.
Familiarity with civil engineering plans a plus Reinforced concrete design a plus Geotechnical experience a plus Job
Responsibilities:
Design and analysis of retaining walls and site structures including:
Segmental retaining walls, small and large block.
Mortared stone retaining walls.
Reinforced concrete retaining walls and site structures.
Develop engineering plans.
Review contract plans to verify no changes since the bid phase.
Work with CAD tech to generate plans.
Review plans and run calcs to design retaining walls.
Communicate with project managers and meet project target dates.
Peer review others work.
Generate engineered bid quantities from contract plans.
