Job Description:
In this role as a Mortgage Loan Processor II, your primary responsibility is to review residential loan files verifying the application data including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities and length of employment is complete and meets established standards; you will prepare loans for underwriting analysis by analyzing income and debts and inform a supervisor of discrepancies in title or survey. Additional responsibilities include:
Obtain appraisals or credit reports
Submit mortgage loan application files for underwriting approval
Type and mail denial letters to applicants
Submit approved mortgage loan files to Closing for settlement
We are seeking talented individuals with the following
Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience and/or training required
Minimum of three years' experience with Conventional, FHA and VA loans
Typing speed of a minimum of 55 wpm preferred
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Self-motivated and extremely detail oriented
Ability to handle a high volume of loans

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
