The Pastry Chef begins work very early in the morning to provide freshly-made, eye-catching, and delicious products. He or she is highly skilled in the baking process and creates pastries, bakes breads, and makes layer cakes by hand. The Pastry Chef manages junior kitchen staff members and ensures that the kitchen remains clean, safe, and organized. In addition, he or she may perform administrative duties, such as preparing budgets and ordering pastry-making supplies.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of baking experience, and knowledge of food safety and handling requirements. Formal culinary training is highly desired. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
