TheLead Software Developer workswithin the operations organization that specializes in developing software, scripts and tools that interact with servers in response to alerts received.
These tools may have to interact with systems provide byCenturyLinkIT such as ticketing, billing, or monitoring systems.
A successful candidate for therole will be an experienced software developer with a strong systems administration background.

  • Position Objectives:
  • Increase the efficiency of Operations through automating the response to alerts and repetitive tasks.
  • Essential Duties:
  • Develop software to increase efficiency of Operations Staff including
  • Centralized automation tools
  • Scripts that are deployed and executed on servers as part of automated solutions
  • Tools to simplify processes
  • Work with IT staff on automation integration points with IT systems including Ticketing, Billing, Event Management, etc
  • Work with Operations staff to determine Automation Opportunities
  • Document and provide training to end users on automation tools
  • Document architecture and other software development documentation for automation tools.
